Installation & Setup

Get started with Screbly in just a few simple steps:

Download & Install

Download Screbly for your operating system and run the installer. The application will be ready to use immediately after installation.

Launch Screbly

Open Screbly from your Applications folder. The floating toolbar will appear, ready for you to start annotating your screen.

Grant Screen Recording Permission (macOS)

⚠️

Important for Screenshot Feature: To use the full-screen screenshot feature (Shift+S), you'll need to grant Screen Recording permissions.

Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording and enable Screbly.

Note: This permission is only required for the screenshot feature. All other annotation tools work without it.
